This enjoyable and positive five-week course is ideal for dogs of all ages, whether they’re new to training or need a refresher on basic commands. Whether you’ve recently brought home a puppy or want to improve your adult dog’s manners, this class will provide the foundation for a well-behaved companion.
In this class, you and your dog will learn:
- Name recognition and focus amidst distractions
- Sit, down, and polite greetings
- Loose leash walking
- Coming when called
- Leave it and impulse control
- Confidence-building exercises
- Real-life skills for home and public outings
Classes are taught using positive reinforcement methods that are both engaging and effective, fostering a strong bond between humans and animals. You’ll also receive weekly homework tips and personalized guidance to help you practice at home.
