Yolanda Freeman, CPDT-KA, CTDI owns Evolutionary Dog Training, LLC, a South Florida-based company that provides personalized, comprehensive training and behavior services for you and your dogs. She is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer(CPDT,) Certified Trick Dog Instructor(CTDI,) AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator, Pet Professional Guild member. Yolanda also volunteers to evaluate therapy dogs for Canine Assisted Therapy in Oakland Park, FL and Pets for Vets. She has trained and mentored people all over the country to become professional dog trainers for PetSmart, Animal Behavior College and Catch Dog Training Academy. She has nearly 14 years of experience as a professional dog trainer helping thousands of dogs and their humans.

Evolutionary Dog Training gives you the tools to make training your dog effective, fun and convenient. We are here to help you with your family’s very first puppy, rambunctious new rescue or even teach your old dog some new tricks. We use progressive training techniques that let you train and enjoy your dog at the same time. By using scientifically-studied training methods, we’ll teach you how to have fun with your dog without reinforcing bad habits

Everyone in the family is welcome to be a part of the training process. For your convenience, we also offer personal canine coaching so your dog can get trained while you are out. This might include a field trip the park or the store to perfect your dog’s newly acquired skills in new locations. We want to give dog owners the skills they need to be their dog’s leader. We teach people how dogs think and learn. We know dogs will listen to you if they understand what you’re saying. Training helps humans explain what they want to their dogs. We want you to love everything about your dog, including their behavior.

Yolanda has been a cornerstone of our dogs behavior training. We adopted an 8 month old Anatolian/ Pyrenees rescue that was in a shelter for 4 months recuperating from leg surgery after an auto accident. He arrived with many issues. She has helped us give him the foundational and specialized training we need to practice to give him the opportunity to be his best possible human companion.
